Metabolic Efficiency™ testing is different from other physiology testing protocols because it is a submaximal test utilizing indirect calorimetry to accurately measure carbon dioxide expenditure and oxygen consumption during rest and exertion. The assessment can be done running via treadmill or cycling via CompuTrainer | Wahoo Kickr.

Hydration is vital to life and endurance sport performance; yet, knowledge of proper fluid and sodium intake are often mysteries. A simple sweat sodium concentration assessment with meticulous sweat rate testing will accurately measure your hydration level and provide options to improve your well-being and sport performance.

ME™ 5 Appointment Details:

One assessment test, one-on-one guidance, and a customized plan based on your desired training and competition outcomes.

  • Week 1 – 60-minute session [street clothes];
  • Week 2 – Sweat sodium concentration test;
  • Week 3 – E-mail correspondence;
  • Week 4 – Interpretation w/ hourly sodium and fluid recommendations
